Idaho Legislative Session

Encouragement from Janice Fulkerson, Executive Director

The annual Legislative Session brings new proposals and draft legislation to review. This year the Office of the Attorney General has drafted proposed legislation related to charitable organizations and charitable trusts and they are seeking written comment from the Idaho Nonprofit Center, its members, and leaders across the nonprofit sector.

Please click this link to read the draft legislation and their summary letter outlining the intent. It is important that we hear from you. Please send your comments to us at the Idaho Nonprofit Center for inclusion in our comments; send your comments directly to the Attorney Generals Office, or both. This proposal has potential to impact your organization and your boards of directors. If you have any questions, call our office.
